Piping (Pressure Valve)

Directional overflow valve.

The gate is dialled in quarter-atmosphere steps up to the valve's own material rating, and it defaults low; right-click raises it and ctrl plus right-click lowers it. Nothing crosses while the input side sits under the gate, and once it is over, only the excess spills through, never the whole flow, so it never fully equalises the two sides.

The copper-trimmed ring marks the input face, and a wrench flips which side that is. Comes in the cast and plated tiers a run itself does; the plated build takes a higher working pressure, so its own gate reaches further before the tier's own rating stops it.

See Pipe networks and pressure.
