Molten Barrel

Bulk storage for liquid metal or slag.

The barrel is a standalone vessel for a heat: park it under a Molten Canal (Tap) to fill it, or pour a heat into it directly. It re-melts what has already gone solid inside it, unlike a mold, so it can take fresh metal on top of a cast that has cooled. Once it is safe to touch it can be picked back up and carried, contents and all.
