Pipe Outlet

Connects a pipe run to a machine's port face.

A one-faced pipe that ends a run flush against a machine's port face, in fireclay or any of the seven coloured bricks. It is exempt from over-pressure failure and never caps a run's rating, so a run built only from outlets, passthroughs and valves has no burst ceiling at all.

Stand an ordinary chimney on its open connector and the network vents through it at 16 L/s, smoking, instead of the 8 L/s an open pipe end bleeds; that is the way a firebox is exhausted. A wrench cycles the facings valid in its cell, and where only one is valid it will not turn: break it, build the pipe that decides its shape, and place it again.
