Fluid Intake
Draws fresh water into the pipe network.
This is the only block in the mod that makes water rather than moving it: everything downstream is a pump or a boiler drawing on what the intake produces. It will only place on top of a water block, and the pipe run leaves through exactly one horizontal face, the one it faced when placed. It only draws while the whole 3 by 3 by 3 cube of water directly below it is liquid; a frozen skin on the outer cells of the top layer is tolerated, but the cell right underneath has to stay open water, so a pond that ices over under the intake stops it outright.
A second intake within 6 blocks of this one disables it. That is deliberate, not a bug: intakes cannot be packed onto one pond, so give each one its own patch of open water.
