Piping (Bend)

A 90 degree bend in a pipe run.

It is one of the four shapes that take part in over-pressure failure: the weakest plain pipe on a run, this one included, sets the burst rating for the whole thing, 5 atm for iron and 10 for steel, so one iron bend in an otherwise steel line caps it.

A wrench cycles only the orientations valid in the cell it sits in. Where only one is valid it will not turn at all: break it, place the neighbour that decides its shape, and place it again.
