Nail Plate
Any blade set in the Crop Shear turns one vanilla iron plate into 2 Nail Plate, and a rolled rod taken flat to gauge 1.0 is claimed off the mill as Nail Plate directly, with no crop - the one whole-piece conversion the rolling line makes, which is why both routes land on the same 100 units. The cut nail machine, fitted with a Nail Die, turns one Nail Plate into 4 bundles of vanilla nails and strips in 2 seconds at 0.2 N.m of drive. It is the cheaper of the two fastener routes - see Rivet Rod for the pricier, pressure-tight one.
