Cast Iron Bevel Drive
A bevel is made in place rather than crafted whole: hold a Cast Iron Bevel Gear against a length of shaft and it consumes the gear and swaps that cell for a corner. It connects on every face, following whatever perpendicular shaft is placed against it, with no facing to choose and nothing to support it first.
See Shaft power and the flywheel.
