Bessemer Gas Intake

The converter's air intake.

The Bessemer Gas Intake is a machine port, not a length of pipe: the network has to sit in the cell against its face, so a pipe segment always goes between the blower and the intake rather than butting one straight onto it. It draws the 8 L/s of blast the vessel wants once the blow is running, and it has to face the same way as the Bessemer Control or the finished machine refuses to run.

Its own recipe needs a straight cast pipe, which Iron Industry Expanded has no recipe for, so it cannot be crafted in survival.
