Bessemer converter vessel

Massive vessel that blows molten pig iron into steel.

The vessel is not placed, it is spawned: right-clicking the Bessemer Control with a large gear and eight rods puts it two blocks in front of the control and reserves the whole cube it tilts through, which is what completes Bessemer converter. Holds up to 4800 units of metal, scrap included. Every reading of the blow lives here, not on the control, which shows only whether the axle is turning.

The seven stages raise it from bare gear shaft to finished machine: ironwork below, the gas intake partway up, refractory lining top and bottom, and ironwork again to close it, 40 plate, 42 nails and strips, 18 rod, 84 fired refractory brick and 84 fire clay in all, plus the 3 straight cast pipe stage three needs and that Iron Industry Expanded does not craft. Break the finished vessel and 80 % of that comes back.

It tilts to one side only. There is no mirrored variant, so which side it pours to is fixed the moment the structure is built.
