Feeds a boiler above the pressure of the steam driving it, with nothing moving and no power of its own. Wants cold water and refuses hot, so a condenser's hot well cannot feed it; the overflow's drip is the readout - streaming means it has not picked up. The injector's process is not built yet.

Feeds a boiler above the pressure of the steam driving it, with nothing moving and no power of its own - live steam condensing into the feedwater carries its own heat back in and raises the delivered pressure past what drove it. It wants cold water and refuses hot, so a Jet Condenser's hot well cannot feed it directly. The overflow spout is the readout: a steady drip means it has picked up, a running stream means it has not.
