Burden Maker

Two hoppers over a shared basin with one sliding gate. Load crushed or roasted iron ore on the wide side and lime on the narrow side, then open the gate and both fall together into burden. Needs no power. Built from any colour of fired brick (except fire and clinker), which sets its appearance.

The two hoppers and the shared basin between them are this one block's whole job: fill the wide hopper with crushed ore and the narrow one with lime, read the grade off its look-at line, and open the gate to drop both into the basin at once as a single batch. The basin has to be empty before the next batch will drop, which is the only boundary between one load and the next, so reach in and take the burden out before refilling it.
