Molten Metal Tap

Drains the furnace's molten reservoir into a canal below.

The furnace carries two of these, one draining the lower, iron reservoir and one the upper, slag reservoir, each at 40 units per second. A tap only opens over a Molten Canal (Start), brick (or the cobblestone kind) placed one block below its spout; toggle it with an empty hand, and it refuses with nothing under it to drain into. See Ironmaking for the reservoir sizes and Molten metal for laying out the run it feeds.
