Molten Barrel
Bulk storage for liquid metal or slag.
The Molten Barrel is bulk storage and a heat store, not a dispenser: park one under a Molten Canal (Tap), which fills it at 20 units per second, and it holds up to 800 units, remelting anything already set inside when fresh metal lands on it. Metal never flows back out of a barrel into the canals; the only way to get it back is to let it set and chisel it out, in hand with a hammer in the off-hand, at the usual 5 units per bit. Breaking a barrel that is both full and hardened returns only the empty barrel, so drain or chisel it first. See Molten metal for the canal side of feeding one.
