Smoke Stack Intake

Starts the Smoke stack.

Vents surplus furnace exhaust to the sky.

The intake is the only machinery in a smoke stack: it draws 48 litres a second off the network at its face and vents them up the flue, which is one blast furnace's whole exhaust. It refuses liquids, and in the network it is a pipe passthrough, not a machine port, so rolled pipe will not couple to it and the line into a stack is cast or plated pipe. The plume takes its colour from what is being vented: soot for exhaust, white for steam, nothing for plain air.
