Pig Iron Bits

Chips of pig iron. Too brittle and too high in carbon to forge - remelt them or convert them to steel.

Pig Iron Bits are the nugget-scale chip a Pig Iron Ingot shatters into; twenty of them smelt back into one ingot. They remelt in a Cupola like any other pig-iron scrap. Mistake: they are not the same item as Pig Iron Shot, which the helve hammer sheds off a whole pig on the anvil rather than off an ingot - keep the two separate when counting a cupola charge.
